I've been a keen motorcyclist since the age of
18 years old, when I passed my test on a Honda
CB200, it wasn't long before I worked my way up
to a BMW RS100 and made my first visit to the
IOM in 1978, which coincided with Mike Hailwood's
epic return to the TT races. I have fond memories
of being at Creg-Na-Bar, when Hailwood caught
up Phil Read, and I became hooked.
