Dave Jefferies was tragically killed
practicing for the 2003 Isle of Man TT races.
He believed that the 130mph lap was really possible
and was determined to be the first rider to break
this barrier. He won 9 TT races and was the first
rider to lap at 125mph, 126mph and 127mph. He
was also the first rider in history to break the
18 minute lap and the only man in history to win
three consecutive triple wins.
