About Glen

With over 20 years of motorcycle racing experience and many wins under his belt, Glen English continues to delight the crowds and enjoy a successful racing career.

In 1996 Glen notched up a very credible 3rd place in the Isle of Man 125cc TT, a circuit most riders only dream of achieving a podium position in. Four years later in the 2000 season riding a 500cc Manx Norton Glen won the Senior Classic Manx GP. In 2003 on board Fred Walmsley's 500cc Manx Norton and a Seeley G50 Glen's professional approach to racing and experience showed through when he won both the 350/500 British National Classic Championship and the FIM World Classic Championship.

Glen's other keen interest in art and specifically sculpting lead him into a career in creating beautifully hand crafted replica scale models of the world famous 500cc Manx Norton and many limited edition sculptures of famous riders from Bill Ivy on the Yamaha 125cc to Steve Hislop on the Norton. Please follow the links below for further information on the models and how you can be the proud owner of one.

In 2006 Glen was invited to ride for the Works Tigcraft team on board the innovative and revolutionary Tigcraft Minimono. The Tigcraft Minimono is a handmade thoroughbred racer based on the chassis geometry of a 125cc bike with a state of the art 450cc single cylinder motocross engine.

The Minimono competes in the Supermono class of racing and in his first year Glen finished 3rd in the championship without even starting the last 2 rounds. Also in 2006 Glen celebrated his 40th Birthday by winning the 4th round of the ACU 2006 UK Supermono Championship at Cadwell Park on 30th July with his Mum amongst the admiring spectators.

Riding the designdatamanager.com sponsored Tigcraft Minimono Glen won the 2007 ACU Supermono championship. In only his second year Glen won the championship a clear 35 points ahead of the second place rider without even starting the last 2 rounds due to an illness in the family. A top class rider of real pedigree.
