one of our greatest finds - Enda McCauley.
Enda was born in 1967 in Joey
Dunlop's hometown of Ballymoney and has been
a life-long fan of road racing. He developed
an interest in motorcycle art after he was commissed
to paint a portrait of Joey following his tragic
accident in 2000. He had been painting part-time
for a few years prior to this and having received
several other commissions as a result of this
painting he decided that the time was right
to leave his job and train as a professional
artist. Since then Enda has undertaken a BA(Hons)
Degree in Fine Art at Belfast Art College. Enda
works in oil paints, acrylic or pencil and would
describe himself as a realist painter.
During the Isle of Man TT in
the year 2000, at the age of 48, Joey Dunlop
counted his magnificent win in the Duke Formula
One as one of his most rewarding. Using Aaron
Slight's WSB engine and with Honda’s President
looking on, even Joey admits to feeling under
pressure. But on a daunting mixture of wet and
dry roads, he was in a class of his own and
won comfortably from Michael Rutter. He was
mobbed in delirious scenes at the finish. In
third place was an up and coming TT rider, John
McGuinness !!

original painting. The print is printed onto real
canvas, stretched onto a handmade rigid pine box
frame, and supplied ready to hang. it is printed
on top quality cotton canvas using the latest
Ultrachrome UV resistant inks giving a true life
expectancy of 75 years. There is no white border.
