The talented artist Richard
Heale had a colourful background started at
the age of 14 riding motorcycles across fields.
He got caught up in the Mods and Rocker battles
at Southend on Sea and later became a Hippy
in an Afghan coat. Still riding a motorcycle,
people said he looked like Father Christmas.
After marrying a girl from Brighton he spent
7 years living in Australia earning a living
from painting local landscapes before returning
to England to become a motorcycle courier. He
combined his love of motorcycling and painting
to become a professional artist in 1993, travelling
extensively across Europe and the UK to shows
and race meetings. His style is different from
the regular mainstream, using Acrylics and soft
pastels.
Many of these limited
edition prints are available on a clock - used
with the permission of Richard Heale.
